Epiphany
Do you know those moments of epiphany? When suddenly everything seems to make more sense? A moment of realisation.
When certain situations (usually little things, specific moments) happen that open your eyes in a way that feels like a whole other universe came into the scene?
A simple trigger that shifts your perspective entirely, changing what you thought to be true until that moment -a deviation from the original plan (if there was one).
A feeling of extreme joy occasionally follows those realisations, but most often than not, also of fear—generally, a weird combination of both, constantly interchanging.
Our mind seems to blow up in a second, and you have to collect the pieces to start creating a movement in the direction of a new beginning.
Having a support system (or at least one person you trust) to talk to is crucial. Putting those words and feelings out of the chest will make a difference. It will help. Massively. Trust me.
Not only to feel that you are not alone, but it will also calm you down, put your feet back on the floor and assure you that everything will be ok.
It will give you a clearer perspective and alleviate the fear inside.
It will aid in collecting the scattered pieces after the explosion and initiate the assembly of the parts to initiate a new stage in your journey.
A weird mix of tears, smiles, confusion, excitement and fear, with no predictable order.
Time will bring things together and give sense to the „mess“.
Like walking on an extremely cloudy day, every step brings you to see the next bit. Step by step, the landscape changes, showing you where the (new) path leads.
