under (constant) construction

“Change is the only constant in life”

From the moment we are born until the day of our death, change is the one thing that maintains its consistency throughout.

The curious minds, those who dare to dive deep within themselves, demystifying traumas and gaining a more profound knowledge of who they truly are, see change suddenly increase exponentially.

The deeper one digs, the more there seem to be disclosed. It becomes a game with unlimited levels of difficulty to progress.

As if a raw building were to be under constant construction.

When one thinks progress is being made, a new level of complexity enters the construction site. Along the way, changes and adaptions to the initial project are pivotal. The reasons are various.

That is how I have felt throughout the years (and continue to feel) as if I would constantly be building and rebuilding—learning and unlearning. When I think things are making sense, a new renovation comes again, and it is as if one goes back to creating further extensions. The more I dig, the more there seems to be explored.

My question to you: is the house ever complete, or are we forever under (constant) construction?

(a project in continuous development)
